Description

Herbert Zeitner (1900-1988) was a German goldsmith and silversmith. During the Third Reich, he created jewelry for high-ranking National Socialists. In 1939 he became the head of an atelier for goldsmiths at the Prussian Academy of Arts in Berlin. Zeitner received several awards for his works, including the Golden Honor Ring for Goldsmithing in 1943. 

The lot consists of sample items of his work. Among them are samples showing the coat of arms of Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring. Comes with the original box in which he kept the sample items. In addition an envelope with his post-war address in Lüneburg.
