An extensive collection of documents of Korvettenkapitän Helmut Beelitz.
He served as commander of the Matrosen-Artillerie-Abteilung in the German East Asia Base Tsingtau. During WWI he served as commander of the Marine-Luftschiff L8. Awarded the 1914 Iron Cross 2nd Class. From 1931 until 1941 he served as a rapporteur of the Gau Bayerische Ostmark and with the Ministry of Aviation in Berlin. Korvettenkapitän Beelitz died on 10.4.1941 in his house during an air raid. Please see the enclosed copy of his military career, all of his stations are listed there.
The lot consists of numerous period time documents up to 1939. Mainly from the Third Reich.
