Photo album of Harry Kowalkowski serving as a boxer with the HJ-Jugendstaffel.
The album consists of 104 photos and several sports certificates as well as newspaper clippings. It documents his boxing carrier and HJ service very well. He participated in numerous national and international boxing matches. Among them are photos of HJ leaders wearing the HJ leader's dagger, photos of his Wehrmacht Heer service, and a shot of a recipient of the rare HJ-Kampfspiele winner's badge. Harry Kowalkowski died in September 1944 while a prisoner of war in North Africa. The album also includes five photos from his funeral and two post-war photos of his grave. The album was compiled by his parents in the 1950s.
