This piece is part of a grouping of an SS member serving with the 24. Waffen-Gebirgs-(Karstjäger-)Division der SS. The division was primarily involved in fighting partisans in the Karst Plateau on the frontiers of Yugoslavia, Italy, and Austria.
Rare Anti Partisan Badge in Bronze. Made of zinc. Bronzed. Semi-hollow construction. The pin and hinge are missing. No maker's mark. The bronze grade was awarded for 25 combat days against partisans.
