Prussian infantry officer's sword IOD 89 with Damascus blade - Eickhorn


Description

Rare real Damascus blade made by Carl Eickhorn, Solingen. Maker marked. "J. Robrecht Hoflieferant Berlin" marked on the back of the bade. Stains on both sides. The knuckle bow bears the Prussian coat of arms. A ray skin finished grip with wire wrapping as well as the attached monogram of Kaiser Wilhelm II. Numbered on the bottom. Gilt brass hilt fittings. The leather finger loop is present but broken. Black repainted steel scabbard. It has a few small dents.

Length: 92 cm.
