Description

A period time privately purchased Heer field tunic designed like an M36 pattern. The earliest pattern was considered very elegant with its dark green collar and insignia and the preferred design of most soldiers. A very light type for summer service. 

Breast eagle: officer's pattern on dark green backing. Postwar re-attached
Collar tabs: period time attached by machine
Shoulder boards: infantry Unteroffizier. Around 1935.

Lining: silk. Unmarked. No tailor's or name tag.

Buttons: Period time attached. Complete

No moth damage. Slightly bleached.
