Description

A very rare visor cap for a Wehrmacht priest with purple piping!

Insignia: Hand-embroidered officer's pattern cap wreath. Attached by hand. Aluminum cap eagle with both prongs in place. 
Chin strap: textbook officer's strap. Correct buttons period time attached.

Lining: silk.
Celluloid diamond: damaged

Maker's mark: "Josef Brüggen". A very rare maker when it comes to visor caps!
Sweat-band: Signs of wear. Some damage. The seam of the visor is not damaged and sits firmly. 

Minor moth holes. A very nice and rare cap!
