Luftwaffe visor cap for EM and NCOs. Unlike an officer's cap which was always worn with a silver bullion piping, EM and NCOs had a colored piping that indicated the branch they were serving for.
Branch: Flying troops. Yellow piping.
Insignia: An alumimum 1st pattern cap eagle and wreath badge. All prongs in place.
Chin strap: textbook black strap for EM and NCOs. Correct buttons period time attached.
Lining: Fine brown linen
Celluloid diamond: slightly damaged
Maker's mark: "Franz Ritter vorm. Karl Roth Dettingen a. Main". "LIeferjahr 1938" dated.. Size 56 marked.
Sweat-band: minor signs of wear.
