A very nice Heer visor cap for an officer made by VIRO. It once certainly started as an EM/NCO type an was "promoted" by the owner after becoming an officer.
Branch: Infantry. White color piping
Insignia: Aluminum cap eagle. Aluminum wreath badge. All prongs in place. Both original to the cap.
Chin strap: textbook officer's chin strap. Correct buttons period time attached.
Lining: Fine silver-gold color silk.
Celluloid diamond: intact
Maker's mark: "Fabrik-Marke VIRO Gesetzl. Geschützt" marked to the lining.
Sweat-band: Almost no signs of wear.
A very nice cap in condition 2+. Only a few tiny bites to the top if you check closely.
