Kitchen sieve made from M38 paratrooper helmet
Description
Original M38 Fallschirmjäger helmet shell which was converted into a sieve after the war. Due to the lack of material, helmets were converted in all sorts of useful things, however, mostly to sieves.
This is a rare example in good condition which survived all these decades. Holes were thrilled into the shell, handles were added. The shell was then finished with light-blue enamel.
A rare piece of early German postwar history.
