An M42 Wehrmacht helmet as typically worn by Kriegsmarine ship crews. The shell was painted with what they call a "battleship grey". The helmets were primarily worn by gun crews.
Fine lining in good condition. Matching rivets. Size stamped as well as "Rinnebach" named.
The markings of the shell are hard to make out due to the thick paint. The paint still covers around 85-90% of the shell.
