Description

Important grouping to the Spanish Brigade general Manuel Saavedra Palmeiro who fought with the so-called "Blue Division" for the Germans during WWII.

Period time framed German award certificate to the "Blue Division Medal".
Issued by the 15. Armee on 21.11.1944 to "Hauptmann Manuel Saavedra Palmeiro".

Extremely rare German award certificate in Spanish to the "Cruz Rjoa del Merite Militar" issued in Russia on 18.5.1943. Stamped "Kdo. Spanische Div."
Folded once.

Again, a German type of award certificate in Spanish for the "Cruz de Guerra" issued in Russia on 11.11.1943. Stamped "Kdo. Spanische Div."
Folded once. 

A bag for the 1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class including the ribbon. 

Numerous Spanish period time and postwar documents as well as award certificates. 
There are extremely raredocuments such as a letter sent from Berlin to Spain in 1944. It was censored and opened by the OKW.
A postcard addressed to Saavedra Palmeiro in Zaragoza which could not be delivered and is stamped "Zurück an den Absender" (return to sender). A "Kleiner Wehrmachtfahrschein" stamped "Spanische Freiwilligen-Division". A "Sonderausweis" issued by "Vertretung der Span. Division" and a lot more!

A General's parade saddlecloth. It looks to be pre 1945.

Nice quality sash with enameled applications. Fine condition. Inside its case of issue which comes with engraved and named tag to the outside. 1974 dated.
