Nickel-plated steel blade featuring the etched motto "Meine Ehre heißt Treue" and the maker's mark of Böker Solingen. The blackening of the etching is very well preserved. Stains from dried gun oil on both sides and a small piece of the tip is missing.
Black wooden handle with inlaid SS roundel and national eagle. No chipping or cracks. Early nickel fittings. "I" stamped on the lower fitting. Original black anodized steel scabbard with nickel fittings. One screw is missing and the "ball" is bent.
Comes with the rare vertical dagger hanger. Made of blackened leather. "RZM" and "SS" maker marked. The snap clip has been repaired and no longer works. "DRGM" marked. Includes the belt loop.
