VIEW DESCRIPTION

An excellent Luftwaffe sword. Worn by a member of the I./Jagdgeschwader 52.

Aluminum type. Very nice clean blade showing the maker's mark by SMF and the Luftwaffe acceptance mark. Blue leather finished handle and scabbard. Full gilding of the swastikas. The wire wrapping to the handle is intact. "I./JG52" engraved to the upper scabbard fitting. No dents to the scabbard. All four screws in position and unopened. Original attached blue leather.
