Description

VIEW DESCRIPTION

A beautiful air force sword from SMF, Solingen. Aluminium type.

It comes with a nice clean blade. "SMF" maker marked and the Luftwaffe acceptance mark. Original blue leather covered grip and scabbard. The wire wrapping of the handle is in position and intact. Typical gold-plated sunburst hook crosses on the pommel and crossguard. No dents on the scabbard and fittings. Stamped "195 a" on the throat and quillons (matching numbers). All screws are in position and unopened.

With the original blue leather grip. Manufacturer's inscription "Sachs & Deisselberg Hamburg" and stamp "LBA". Fully functional snap lock. Stamped "DRGM".

Length of the sword: 98 cm.
