M38 DRK (Red cross) NCO's hewer Dagger in medium condition.
The nickel plated zinc hilt has multiple cracks under the grip plates and to the backside of the cross guard aria. This is typical for this brittle material. The black grip plates are held on by two steel screws. The steel blade has the typical sawtooth back and is stamped "ges.Geschützt" under the cross guard. The scabbard has it's original black paint still present together with all 4 screws in place.
