Bavarian Kürassier helmet, EM. Front emblem showing a "L" monogram (König Ludwig) and the Bavarian crown. The bottom part of the emblem is damaged and was repaired.
All screws apart from the front one are unopened. Black horse hair top. Brass lion's heads holding the cloth backed chin strap. Iron shell with light rust. "1137" numbered to the one side, "622", "1 CH" (1.Chevauleger-Regiment) as well as "4E1871" (4.Eskadron - 1871) stamped.
Correct leather front and rear visors with brass fittings. Used but original attached liner which is really hard to find when it comes to Kürassier helmets.
