Description
Important World War II period time telegrams dressed to Gordon Gollob congratulating for the award of the Oak Leaf to the Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross. This Oak Leaf was awarded to Gollob on 25.10.1941.
 
One telegram sent by Generalfeldmarschall Erhard Milch. Typical „Deutsche Reichspost“ example. Adresse to Hauptmann Gollob. Feldpost number L 30633:

„ZUR VERLEIHUNG DES EICHENLAUBES ZUM RITTERKREUZ DES EISERNEN KREUZES HERZLICHSTE GLUEWUENSCHE HEIL HITLER“

Another telegram from 28.10.1941 addressed to Hauptmann Gollob by Generaloberst Alexander Loehr:

„ZU DER HOHEN UND WOHLVERDIENTEN AUSZEICHNUNG MIT DEM EICHENLAUB ZUM RITTERKREUZ DES EISERNEN KREUZES MEINE HERZLICHSTEN GLUECKWUENSCHE. MOEGE IHNEN DAS GLÜCK BESCHIEDEN SEIN WIE BISHER. LOEHR, GENERALOBERST“

Both telegrams with signs of age and use.

Condition 2-. Extremely rare.

Gollob's personal belongings were sold by the family originally. This item was owned by a collector since 1999 and was now consigned to us.
