US uniform jacket for a member of "United States Constabulary". Branch badge to the left sleeve. The constabulary forces acted as occupation and security force in the US occupation zones of West Germany and Austria.
A washed out label to the inside one of the inner pockets. Unreadable.
Jacket might be WW2 period time. The insignia of course postwar.
