Description
Soldbuch to Afrika Campaign and D-Day veteran Wachtmeister Karl Schalk serving with Panzer-Artillerie-Regiment 155.
 
A well worn Soldbuch issued in May 1941 and worn right up to the end of the war. Late April 1945 entires. 
Nearly all pages are loose but complete. All awards are noted on from page 22:

- Westwall Medal
- German-Italian Campaign Medal
- Cuffband AFRIKA
- War Merite Cross 2nd Class with swords
- Wound Badge in black
- Iron Cross 2nd Class
- Iron Cross 1st Class (10.4.1945!)
 
Interesting Afrika related notes.
His unit was part of 21.Panzer-Division in 1944 and participated in the D-Day battles. Very detailed information on cities and places on his unit are variable.
