Heer M40 field tunic worn by a Jäger. A rare example made by Hugo Boss. Size stamped and BOSS maker marked to the liner.
The tunic has been modified with a dark green collar and dark green boards to upgrade to the M36 style. This happened very often.
Green piped black Feldwebel boards to slip on. Black cloth backing! Basically, these boards are Waffen-SS however I tend to privat purchased boards. The tailor just used black cloth.
Jäger collar tabs. Machine-attached. You can see traces of previously attached tabs. The white thread is coming up under UV light and might not be period time.
