Untouched officer's black Panzernachrichten sidecap in nicely worn condition.
Hand-embroidered cap eagle and yellow soutache period time attached by hand. Machine-woven silver-wire cockade attached by machine. Fine officer's silver-wire cord to the top.
Black silk liner. No markings as this is a privately purchased cap. Zinc grommets.
Front sweat-band seems to have been made from cotton. Missing or worn off.
A very nice and very rare sidecap which was definitely worn in the field.
