Description
Exciting Inf.Rgt.271 "Feldherrnhalle" grouping to Stabsarzt Dr. Diedrich Engelhardt serving with Grenadier-Regiment "Feldherrnhalle" and Armeeoberkommando 14. 
 
Three large size impressive promotion certificates: Assisstenzarzt, Oberarzt, Stabsarzt. Facsimile signatures of von Brauchitsch and Keitel.
 
Early certificate for the 4 years Long Service Award issued by "Militärärztliche Akademie". (folded once. one hole)
 
Certificate to the Iron Cross 2nd Class. Issued to Engelhardt serving with Stab III./Inf.Rgt.271 "Feldherrnhalle". Signed by the commander of 93.Inf.Div.  Folded once.
 
Certificate to the War Merit Cross 2nd Class with swords. Signed by the commander of 14. Armee Generaloberst. Folded once.
 
Certificate to Infantry Assault Badge in silver. Issued on 19.11.1942. II. Gren.Rgt. "Feldherrnhalle". Signed by the regiment commander. Folded twice. 
 
Field issued (at the Batl.Gef.Std.) certificate to the Wound Badge in black. Issued by "III.I.R.271 (Feldherrnhalle)". Folded twice. DIN A4.
 
Medals:
Medal bar with 1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class and 4 years Long Service Award, a single 4 years Long Service Award, his War Merit Cross 2nd Class with swords, Infantry Assault Badge in silver (zinc, AS marked), Wound Badge in black, Wound Badge in black (WW1, damaged), Sudetenland Medal without ring. 
 
He seems to have been awarded the Iron Cross 1st Class as well. Part of the grouping is a nicely worn 20 marked cross inside its original case. The clipper of the case is missing.
 
Last but not easy a framed portrait photo of his early days and a very nice engraved metal tag which looks to have been mounted on a wedding present gives by the officer's crops of III./Inf.Rgt.271 once:
 
"Dem junge Paar Engelhardt z. Erg. an seine Kriegshochzeit 1940. 
Das Offz.corps d. III./271 Feldherrnhalle"
 
A very nice grouping to a medical officer serving with a famous unit.
