Excellent Wehrmacht EM/NCO Infanterie visor cap in untouched condition. Please note we also have this soldier's parade tunic at auction. It comes with the same nice dark patina as shown on the cap eagle here.
Excellent quality cap. Not a single moth hole. The insignia are absolutely original to the cap however it is a aluminium wreath and a tombak cap eagle. The silver finish or the tombak eagle got a different patina than the aluminium wreath.
Sonderklasse marked liner. Stamped sweat band: "Geprüft 11./I.R.??". Unfortunately you cant read the Regiment number. Great quality and typical "saddle" shape.
There is a very small (maybe 2mm) chip to the black leather chin strap.
