Description
Worn Heer M35 helmet with two factory applied decals. An early M35 "apple green" helmet which was carried on wearing during the war. It probably has received a new lining some time in war. The paint of the rivets is rather of "rough" texture and might date back to 1941/42.

The shell comes with roughly 85% of the original green factory paint. Signs of wear and tiny rust pits. It looks like the soldier had worn some sort of a band around the helmet. You can see a clear dark trace.

Both decals are about 85% as well. The condition is nicely matching.

The shell is ET66 size stamped and maker marked. The lot number is 13198. There are two light blue paint marks to the inside. The soldier probably marked it to make it easier identifying his helmet.
The size of the liner should be 58. The condition of the liner is 3. The leather is still soft but there are bits missing and there are dark stains.

Apart from the liner, this helmet is in good condition 2. Well worth restoring with a more nicer lining.
