Nicely worn "been there" Heer M35 helmet which has been re-issued with a "rough" 1940s paint. One of the typical early M35 helmet which have been carried on wearing during the war. The original decals probably still underneather the 1940s paint.
Roughly 80-85% of the original fieldgrey paint. "ET 62" (Eisenhüttenwerke Thale) maker marked. "6" lot number stamped. The rest of the number is hard to read. Rivets in place.
Original leather liner and chin strap. Chin strap "N" marked. Named to the liner.
