Description
Important: There were doubts amongst collectors if this "skull tab" is original. We as well as the buyer of this tunic are aware of this issue.
-
Unworn Waffen-SS M36 field blue with very rare insignia for an SS-Sturmscharführer (Spieß) serving with SS-Totenkopf Division. It is a textbook army pattern "3-hole" M36 tunic with postwar attached original and very rare SS insignia. Army tunics like that were definitely worn by Waffen-SS soldiers as well.

The collar tabs both attached by machine with the same thread as the NCO tress was attached. The tabs are very rare RZM machine-sitched pattern examples. The horizontal skull faces to its right.

RZM machine-stiched sleeve eagle attached to the sleeve by machine. Full color to all original attached buttons.
Loops for one award and a ribbon bar.

Cotton lining. "Wilh. Bieyle K.G." and "Gebr. Götz" maker marked. One of them might be a distributor. Size stamped. "M40" marked. A M36 cut made in 1940.

No moth holes. Excellent condition 1. Size M.
