Very fine Wehrmacht K98 parade bayonet by Pack & Söhne with a nicely etched blade. The bayonet comes with a horn grip which could indicate it was used by a Gebirgsjäger. The green protection cloth inside would also match that theory.
A large German national eagle with swastika to the blade. "ZUR ERINNERUNG AN MEINE DIENSTZEIT".
Maker marked to the reverse of the blade. A very nice and clean blade!
Period time black painted scabbard. Minor signs of use.
A Wehrmacht leather field frog with sabre knot was attached to this bayonet.
Certainly not done by a collector and worn period time exactly like that!
