Description
An excellent Third Reich period time tram visor cap to Straßenbahn-Oberschaffner Ludwig Bäumler died on 1.5.1945 "durch Mördershand". There is the original death card which shows a portrait photo of Bäumler wearing exactly the visor cap being offered here! "... durch Mödershand" means he was murdered. However, that can also mean he was killed during an air raid.

Blue visor cap with original attached cockade. Eagle missing. Silver rank cord going around the cap. Black piping.
Excellent sweat-band. Almost no signs of wear. Fantastic "saddle shape".
Blue silk lining with one stain. H.DRECKSLER MÜTZEFABRIK MÜNCHEN maker marked.

Extremely rare cap not only for its condition but also for being proven by a period time photo.
Size 56. Not one moth hole. Condition 1.
