Interesting Third Reich period time Heer Infanterie officer's visor cap which was period time converted into a "Feldmütze alter Art" by adding the machine-woven officer's insignia. These insignias were only used for the earlier, so-called "crusher caps". These caps with a leather visor.
The example being offered here was a normal EM/NCO visor cap with a firm visor. It was however "upgraded" to a crusher cap for fashion reason.
