Description
Very interesting grouping to the pilot Unteroffizier Siegfried Stahr serving as a Jäger pilot before he became a Schlachtflieger pilot towards the end of the war. Part of the grouping are his flight books which provide a lot of information on his service time and campaigns as well as aircrafts he flew. Stahr had 1340 flights in total. The last one on 30.1.1945.

Nice Soldbuch with original applied photograph. 1940 issued. "Tropendienstfähig".  Many pages loose however all complete. Full of entires! Awards on page 22:
Pilot's Badge, Squadron Clasp for Jäger in bronze, Iron Cross 2nd Class. Squadron Clasp for Schlachtflieger in silver (6.1.1945), Iron Cross 1st Class (22.1.1945). A great document!

Wehrpaß with original applied photograph. Two pages list many units. A few examples: Schlachtgeschwader 102. Schlachtgeschader 152, Schlachtgeschwader 10, Jagdfliegerschule 6 etc...

Page 21: "Spezialkanal (Flugzeugführer) note as well as an entry on the award of the Pilot's Badge (9.6.1942). Furthermore he was awarded the Squadron Clasp in bronze and the Iron Cross 2nd Class (see page 23).
Page 32: "Einsatz als Schlachtflieger im Mittel- u. Südabschnitt d. Ostfront).
Two very late war 1944/45 "Sonderausweis" documents.

His 1942 pilot's license with original photo. To the end there are two interesting documents. One allowing him to wear the Luftwaffe Borddolch, one applying for the Pilot's Badge.

The flight books are absolutely amazing. They come with 1340 fights from 6.6.1941 until 30.1.1945.
While first book contains training flights, the second one contains the first attacks. Mostly with Ju87.

The third book is certainly the best one. It starts on 25.5.1944 with flight 1106. He mainly flew a Fw190. Every campaign contains very detailed information on how he attacked the enemy. The book is an excellent source of research and will tell you all details you want to know on his campaigns.
