Comprehensive document grouping to Obergefreiter Erwin Heinen serving with Grenadier-Regiment 96. He was awarded the Demjansk Shield, Iron cross 2nd Class, Infantry Assault Badge in silver, East Medal.
He was killed in action on 14.3.1943.
Part of the grouping is the Demjansk Shield award certificate as well as the certificate to the East Medal. Both come with additional letters which were sent home to the family. There is his work book as well as his death card showing a picture of him.
All documents contained in this grouping are World War II period time. They provide many interesting details on his service time and his death.
All documents have two holes since they are part of a file.
