Description
Document grouping to Wound Badge in gold and Close Combat Clasp recipient Oberfeldwebel Kurt Kowalewitz serving with Jäger-Regiment 54.
 
He was insured 5 times and therefore awarded the Wound Badge in gold on 27.5.1943. Award document signed by a Hauptmann.
 
The grouping also contains the certificates for the Wound Badge in black and silver (three woundings) issued in 1940 and 1942. Both signed by his battalion commander.
 
Certificate to the Iron Cross 2nd Class signed by the commander of 18. Infanterie-Division Generalleutnant Friedrich-Carl Cranz.
 
Certificate to the Close Combat Clasp in bronze for 15 days of close combat signed by the commander of Jäger-Regiment 54. Certificate to the Infantry Assault Badge in silver and the Sudetenland Medal. Both signed by the regiment commander Oberst Hermann Recknagel .
 
All documents folded once.
