Small grouping to Oberleutnant Richard Mengele serving as a Gebirgsjäger. Killed in action on 18.12.1943. Death card, photograph and a letter of "Der Kommandeur des Wehrbezirkes München II" signed by Claus Schenk Graf von Stauffenberg. It is address to Mengele's mothers and was shipped home together with his Wehrpaß.
The document is 9.3.1944 dated. Not even three months later, Claus Schenk Graf von Stauffenberg, was involved in the 20th June 1944 plot on Hitler. A rare autograph. Ink. DIN A4 size document. Folded.
