This Reichsmarine dagger original came of the family and had a second Kriegsmarine top pommel with it. The officer's started serving with the Reichsmarine and unless buying a new dagger after 1935 he simply purchased a new Kriegsmarine top pommel since the rest of the dagger is identical. This dagger was definitely worn for a long time and with two different pommels which are both still there.
Nicely worn dagger with patina. Clean with a WKC maker's mark. Officer's portepee definitely original attached. White grip in good condition. Intact metal wire. Overall nicely matching patina. Extra top pommel with matching patina as well.
