VIEW DESCRIPTION

Fine Luftwaffe sword made by Paul Weyersberg to Leutnant Spengler.

Aluminium metal parts. Blue leather handle with intact twisted wire. Minor signs of use. The swastika-pommel is not 100 % fixed and can be turned easier than usual. A very nice engraved fitting with the name "Lt. Spengler" of the holder, the squadron emblem and "29. Okt. 1940" dated. Slight scratches.

Clear steel blade. "Paul Weyersberg & Co. Solingen" maker marked. Fine blue leather finish to the scabbard with signs of use. Original attached leather hanger.

Total length: 97.5cm. An Interesting sword. Nicely worn.
