Foreign Legion paratrooper Erich Schmidt grouping

Description

Grouping of the German Foreign Legion Fallschirmjäger Erich Schmidt. Schmidt was probably a Waffen-SS soldier. Many soldier volunteered to the Foreign Legion during their time as a POW. Schmidt served with 2nd Bataillon of Etranger de Parachutistes".

Service booklet full of information on his service time. Small brown album with photos taking during the Indochina War. Laos and Vietnam. 83 photos in total.

Two certificates with folder dating back to 1951 and 1957.
