Heer, 4-pieced officers'-pattern insignia-set comprising of a pair of shoulder-boards and dito collar-tabs as was intended for a: 'Oberleutnant des Kavallerie Schützen-Regiments 11'. This unit was later part of 9. Panzer-Division. The - fully matching - set comprises of a pair of shoulder-boards having the sub-dued 'upper-decks' and showing the golden-yellow-coloured- (and/or woolen-type) piping. The pair shows a matching set of four (golden-toned-) pips, smaller-sized 'S'-cyphers and double '1'-numerals (period) attached and comes without tongues (the pair was with certainty worn as a pair of the 'sew-in'-type).
The boards measure 11,5 cms. in length each. The collar-tabs are neatly hand-embroidered in silver-coloured braid and show the golden-yellow-coloured branch-colour: they are mounted on darker-green-coloured wool. The grouping was moderately used and/or worn: all four insignia-pieces do show some minimal age, wear and/or staining.
