Description
Heer ornamented field blouse to Pionier Leutnant Fahrenbruck. Named to a tailor's tag inside the inner pocket. The tag is 15.6.1939 dated. The tailor was "Jost & Schank".
A high quality early field blouse with vertical button line piping and horizontal black piping around the cuffs. Pionier is a rare "Waffenfarbe" to come by.

Buttons are all "A&S 36" maker marked and dated. The collar tabs are period time attached by machine. The breast eagle was postwar re-attached in our opinion and must have hided inside a pocket. It matches perfectly. Buttons look re-attached, too.
There are two pair of award loops to the breast pocket and another pair for a ribbon bar which is still attached. You can see traces of removed award ribbons around one of the button holes. It must have been part of a costume depot once according to stamps to the lining of one of the sleeves.

There is no moth damage to the tunic which comes in great condition 2+
Minor signs of wear.

The tunic comes in bright colors and is not faded. The wrinkles you see on the photo come from storing it in a small back for about 2 weeks. They will go away when putting it on a hanger for a short time.
