Heer EM/NCO-pattern field-trousers for assault-gunners ('Sturmgeschützhose'). The darker field-grey-coloured pair is executed in (typical later-war-period- and 'course-like' wool also known as 'Italian'-style wool) is only moderately used ie. worn: it retains all its (period) buttons (of which some seem to have been period-replaced).
The pair comes with its (internal) belt in place and shows two front-pockets with flaps (which can be closed by a single button): both are typical features of a Heeres-pattern 'Sturmgeschützhose' (something that is also valid for both back-pockets). It furthermore shows a beige-brown-coloured lining that shows an opening (loose stitching) on its back. The pair shows an inked size- and date-stamp ('M44') and also shows an inked: 'RbN.'-number (as can be seen on the pictures).
Both 'bottle-shaped' ends are somewhat (period) altered and come with their (functional) cords in place. The piece is void of any holes nor damage and just shows some age and staining. Simply a genuine field-trousers for assault-gunners ('Sturmgeschützhose') that is not that commonly encountered!
