Poland - M1921 Cavalry Sword

Description
Very rare Polish M1921 cavalry sword which was taken as a war souvenir by later Gebirgsjäger Major Feichtmayer during the Poland Campaign in 1939. It stayed in his house until August 2017 when it was consigned for auction by Feichmeyer's daughter together with other belongings. It was never part of a collection before. See other items to Feichmeyer as part of this auction.
 
Brass handle with leather finished grip. Original metal wire. Never cleaned blade with etched motto "Honor i Ojczyzna". Signs of use. Good condition.
Maker marked: "Orowski, Wrszawa"
 
Original attached leather hanger with original buckles and clippers. leather still soft.
Never cleaned iron scabbard with dents.
