Third Reich hunting knife (Eickhorn) with hangers & portepee
Description
Excellent Third Reich period time hunting knife for an Oberförster manufactured by Eickhorn Solingen. A high quality knife with horn grip and overall gilt tombak and aluminum metal parts. Three gilt oaks to the handle.
Clean blade with etched hunting scenes to both sides. Eickhorn maker marked. No signs of use.
Black leather finish scabbard. Excellent. Very fine dark green leather hanger. "H&C" maker marked to the nickel-finished clipper. Minor moth bites to the green felt backing. Including an original attached portepee.
Excellent condition 1. No signs of wear. Impossible to upgrade in our opinion.
