Description
Waffen-SS, EM-pattern, M42-model field-tunic ('Feldbluse 42') "Florian Geyer". The tunic - which is unusually executed in somewhat 'roughly woven'-type wool - comes in a very nice (and hardly used- nor worn-) condition. The tunic has a silver-greyish-coloured, linnen-type lining and bears a clearly present size- and/or date ink-stamp (that reads: '1944'). The tunic retains all its (period-attached) buttons and shows 'pointed-styled' front-pockets (clearly signifying that it deals with a 'M42'-pattern tunic). The piece shows 2-holes (for belt-hook attachment) and retains its almost fully remaining woolen 'nap': it shows some minimal wear and or storage-age only. The tunic is medium-sized and has a waist of 98 cms. It came with a (matching) pair of golden-yellow-piped ('silk-like'-type) 'SS-Kavallerie'-related shoulder-straps, 'BeVo-woven collar-tab pair and 'RzM'-type arm-eagle (which latter is 'off-factory' attached). Moreover, does the tunic also shows a neat 'BeVo'-type pattern 'Florian Geyer'-cuff-title period-attached, denoting that it was a tunic that was intended for an SS-soldier who served within the: '8. SS-Kavallerie-Division „Florian Geyer“.
