Description
Krim Shield certificate grouping to Unteroffizier Heinrich Hecht serving with 7. Kompanie Grenadier Regiment 399. Heinrich must have spent several month in hospital after being injured for the third time on 20.3.1943. Two Krim Shields and the certificate to the Krim Shield were sent to Heck being in a military hospital in May and July 1943. There are two original letters. The Krim Shield certificate part of this grouping is exactly the one which was posted to him.

There is another letter to his parents saying that they shipping the Wound Badge in silver and its certificate to them since they can´t locate Unteroffizier Hecht at the moment.

The grouping is absolutely complete. No certificate is missing. There is:

- Certificate to the Iron Cross 2nd Class (January 1943). Signed by Generalmajor and commander of 170.Inf.Div. Erwin Sander (Knights Cross winner)
- Certificate to the Krim Shield with printed picture of the shield (February 1943)
- Certificate to the Infantry Assault Badge in silver (Signed by his regiment commander)
- Certificates to the Wound Badge in black and silver as well as the 3 letters mentioned above.

Nice grouping with room for additional research.
