Rare Kriegsmarine Soldbuch to the WW1 U-Boot veteran Obermachinen-Maat Heinrich Bröken including many photos.
1941 issued Soldbuch with a nice picture of Bröken who was born in 1898. He served as a young soldier in the u-boat war during pre 1918. Page 4 of the Soldbuch gives a list of his awards. It lists the WW1 U-Boat War Badge (U-Boots-Abzeichen 1914-1918). Furthermore the 1914 Hindenburg Cross, The 1939 War Merit Cross 2nd Class with swords and the "Kleinboots-Abzeichen" (28.11.40). The Kleinboots-Abzeichen is unknown to us.
The Soldbuch is full of entries and a great source for research. There are 3 very late war papers inside the Soldbuch. One was valid from 1.-31. May 1945.
The grouping includes 47 original Third Reich period time photos including many pictures showing Bröken.
