Wehrmacht Heer field tunic for a Hauptmann serving with Inf.Rgt.17, the famous Infanterie-Regiment Braunschweig. Soldiers were allowed to were the Braunschweig skull on their visor caps.
No.17 cyphers to the board. Machine attached collar tabs. Hand-embroidered breast eagle. All insignia look absolutely period time attached to me. There is a small bit of dark green cloth missing to the breast eagle. That is the only damage we could find. There are no moth holes to this tunic.
3 pair of award loops to the breast eagle with clear signs of wear. No tailors label or name tag but this Hauptmann must have served as a Kompanie leader.
