Description
Grouping to Panzergrenadier Hubert Gebele serving with Pz.Rgt.112. Gebele survived the war but was shot right through his field prayers book (FELDGESANGBUCH) which is still part of the grouping. It shows that the bullet went through the booklet.

Soldbuch (denazified) with many entries. Issued in 1942. Picture missing. Entry for Wound Badge in black and Tank Assault Badge in bronze. Both certificates are part of the grouping. The certificate to the Tank Assault Badge was shipped home with his as another letter confirms. The document was signed the regiment commander.

There is his dog tag: STAMM/GR.E.BATL.(mot) 20 with the original leather bag. This was his first unit as confirmed by the Soldbuch. Furthermore a nice unmarked Wound Badge in black.

His son must have talked with him about the war. There are several postwar notes written by his son. A great source of research for his WW2 service time.

There are many other period time and postwar documents. Also a few photocopies. One shows photo of Gebele.
The amount of documents part of the grouping will allow additional research!
