Description
Very unusual Third Reich M40 field tunic which looks to have been worn as a Wehrmacht but also as a Waffen-SS tunic. You can clearly see the shadow of a breast but also of a sleeve eagle. The same with the shadows to the collar. Short square shadow for Waffen-SS collar tabs and a longer one for army collar tabs.

Even if designed as an M40 pattern this tunic was certainly manufactured after 1943. It looks like it has been made from Italian cloth. Unusual black liner (not dyed!) Silk liner bits. No markings.

A clearly worn tunic. Slightly moth damage. Size M. Very, very unusual and interesting!
