Impressive original tenor saxophone used by a Luftwaffe musician. 1939 dated and engraved with the Luftwaffe eagle with swastika. A high quality instrument made by G.H. Hüller Saxophon Fabrik". It comes with a custom made engraving of the maker. Furthermore unit engraved: "Fl. Gr. Bbg." which could be for "Fliegergruppe Brandenburg".
Original case with additional period time and postwar accessories such as a music holder, extra reeds, a polishing cloth, etc.. While the case does appear of the era, it is stamped as being American-made. The instrument looks to be fully functional, though it has not been conditioned in some time. Rare.
