Fine Luftwaffe officer's visor cap with full original attached insignia.
White removable top. Fine, hand-stiched eagle and wreath badge. The eagle is backing with a metal plate and attached with three prongs to the cap. Both insignia show the same sort of patina. The cap itself comes with a nice officer's silverwire piping to the bottom and top of the black band.
Silk lining. "Verkaufsabteilung der Luftwaffe" marked: Intact celluloid diamond. Named to "Oblt. Matthaues". Marked to the sweat-band. "Clemens Wagner" maker marked to the inside of the sweatband as well as August 1940 dated.
